Michael Starer has his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA in Marketing from the New York University Leonard N. Stern School of Business. His first position after graduating from Penn State was with Frito-Lay where he worked in various positions in manufacturing management. He then transitioned into sales and marketing while working for Werner & Pfleiderer Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer of twin screw extruders. As Business Manager for the process equipment group he was recognized as one of the leading food extrusion experts having authored numerous papers and was a frequent speaker at various industry events. He next took his experience to Ekato Corporation, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of fluid and solid mixing equipment where he was Sales Manager. Prior to working for EZUniverse, Mr. Starer held a variety of positions for Romaco Inc. including Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Romaco is a global manufacturer of packaging and processing equipment for the food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries and he was responsible for the US operation in Pompton Plains NJ. Michael first started consulting with EZUniverse in January of 2010 and assumed the position of Vice President of Sales and Customer Service two months later.
