Michael Starer first began consulting for EZUniverse in January 2010 and currently holds the position of Sr. VP and General Manager of EZConnect. During his tenure at EZUniverse he has managed a customer service organization that has led to a more than 95% client retention rate and built a channel partner network from the ground up. He is responsible for managing our anchor client, which ultimately led to the contract with the largest franchise organization in the world. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, an MBA in Marketing from the NYU Stern School of Business and more than 25 years of experience in sales and operations management. He began his career in manufacturing at Frito Lay before transitioning into business management roles for global process equipment manufacturers, Krupp, EKATO and Robbins & Myers. He has a track record throughout his career of building sales organizations, developing strategies for entering new markets, driving sales growth and increasing the profitability of the businesses he has run.
